"Operation Underwear" is a community-wide Kiwanis Club of Ankeny initiative, created in response to Ankeny Schools nurses and The Ankeny Klothing Exchange citing an ongoing need for new packages of children's underwear and socks. Public collection bins are housed at the Kirkendall Public Library and Ankeny Community Education Office (Neveln Resource Center). In addition to socks and underwear, nurses welcome donations of children's sweatpants in neutral colors. (more)
